Jurgens Swiss Bread:
Business summary: Jurgen’s Swiss Bread Co was a new bakery being established in Dandenong and they wanted a long lasting, reliable flooring solution.

The challenge: Bakeries can be a difficult area to specify floors. This is due to the food products and cleaning regimes. Nonslip floors in a bakery will be very difficult to clean; while smooth floors are easy to clean they can be slippery. The task was to provide an option that would be easy to clean, long lasting and suitable for use in the food environment.
Food Flooring solution: We decided to install different products in the main production, storage and dispatch and pan washing areas. Ucrete MF Smooth was used to provide easy cleaning in the production area and we installed concrete sealers in dispatch and storage. We used Ucrete DP10 6mm for the pan washing area to provide a reliable slip resistant finish.
Results: The client was very happy with the flooring solution, particularly the advice and knowledge about which application would suit different areas the best. We brought the project in at a price and timeline that suited their needs.
